July 30, 2026- Intermediate South was certainly not going to be left out of recent clean-up efforts, and Seminoles were filled with school spirit and teamwork today as staff, parents, and students joined forces for the school's own annual Beautification Day. Volunteers spent the morning weeding, cleaning, and sprucing up the courtyards, all with one shared goal: making Intermediate South the very best it can be for students and the community.
It was a great opportunity for staff, students, and families to work side by side and take pride in the place they call home.
"We're grateful to everyone who gave up part of their summer to help us get ready for the new school year," said Assistant Principal Leigh Madigan. "Seeing our staff, students, and families working side by side shows the pride people have in Intermediate South. It's a great way to start the year and set the tone for what's ahead."
Assistant Principal Casey Daniel added, "Our courtyards and grounds look great because of the people who volunteered their time today. This was a team effort, and we're thankful for everyone who came out to help make our school a place our students can be proud of."
Intermediate South leaders extended their sincere appreciation to every staff member, parent, and student who volunteered their time and energy.
"Your dedication and commitment embody what it means to be part of the Seminole family," Madigan said about the volunteers. "Together, we are making Intermediate South the best it can be!"
