Fifth graders at Walnut Street Elementary proudly hold up the certificates they received after successfully completing the G.R.E.A.T. Program.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer attended the G.R.E.A.T. Program graduation at Walnut Street Elementary on Thursday, June 6. There, he congratulated fifth grade students at the school who participated in and completed the officer-led program.

The G.R.E.A.T. Program is taught by local law enforcement and emphasizes non-violent conflict resolution and positive decision-making skills.

Walnut Street's G.R.E.A.T. instructors were Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Sgt. Renee Nauyoks, Detective Thomas Scalzullo, and Detective Taryn Schwartz; Toms River Police Ptl. Pam Slaven and Ptl. Ron Bayer; and Ocean County Sheriff’s Officers William Zyckowski and Joseph Kirby.

It's a truly G.R.E.A.T. program for kids. Congratulations to all of Walnut Street's fifth grade graduates!
