June 16, 2022-- At last night's public school board meeting, Superintendent Michael Citta announced his heartfelt thanks to the local police departments of greater Toms River for all that they've done for the district, particular in recent days and weeks as national tensions and concerns about school safety has increased.

Today, he and the district have released a more formal version of that thanks, a letter including testimony from the chiefs at all local precincts-- Toms River, South Toms River, Beachwood, and Pine Beach. Read the letter in full below.
