April 24, 2026- High School North proudly hosted its 3rd Annual Career Day yesterday, bringing together students and professionals from a wide range of industries for a day of exploration, inspiration, and real-world learning.

Building on the success of previous years, HSN's Career Day continues to provide students with valuable insight into potential career paths while helping them make informed decisions about their futures. The event has welcomed hundreds of students and dozens of guest speakers representing diverse fields.

This year’s event featured engaging presentations and interactive sessions from Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, NJ Division of Criminal Justice-Office of the Attorney General, Ocean County Vocational Technical School, the Jersey Shore Blue Claws, Dittoli Voice Overs, Montetti Standard CPAs, Ocean First Bank, RWJ Barnabas Health Community Medical Center, Louis Armstrong House Museum, U.S. Military, Ocean County Library, and RWJ Barnabas Health Field of Dreams. Professionals shared their experiences, career journeys, and gave advice for success. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, network with experts, and gain firsthand knowledge about the skills, education, and dedication required in each field.

“Career Day continues to be an incredible opportunity for our students to explore a variety of professions and connect with members of our community,” said Melissa Kwiecinski, HSN business teacher and event coordinator. “These real-world experiences are essential in helping students envision their futures and understand the pathways available to them.”

The event highlights the strong partnership between Toms River Regional Schools and local businesses, organizations, and community members, whose participation plays a critical role in making Career Day a success. Students left the event with not only a broader understanding of career possibilities, but also practical advice on how to begin preparing now—through coursework, certifications, internships, volunteering and networking—for life after high school.

"High School North extends its sincere thanks to all guest speakers, partners, and staff who contributed their time and expertise to inspire the next generation of professionals," said teacher Kodi Sohl who, for more information about Career Day or future events, can be contacted at ksohl@trschools.com.
