May 21, 2024-- The Toms River Book Show will be an opportunity for readers to shop for books and meet authors, and it’s also a fundraiser for afterschool sports and activities.

The event will be 6 to 9 p.m. June 7 at the Toms River Artist Community gallery located at 40 Main Street (Route 9) in downtown Toms River (the former Wells Fargo bank). The show will take place during one of the popular Downtown Night Out events, for which a section of Washington Street from Main Street to Hooper Avenue is closed to vehicles so people can eat outside, and enjoy live music and the ambiance.
