Town Hall Meetings Underway to Discuss Regionalization, Referendum
March 19, 2024
-- Since the district was granted
state approval
to host a referendum to welcome Seaside Heights into its regional district--
the public vote is April 16
-- Superintendent Michael Citta (above) announced a series of Town Hall meetings to educate the public, which
began yesterday evening
at High School North. Board members came out in full support, and parents and residents offered thoughtful questions. The Town Hall meetings continue (and will be live streamed and recorded) March 19 at
Intermediate South
, and conclude March 21 at
High School East's
cafetorium. Photos from the meetings as they happen will be published below.
