Dec. 16, 2025- “Your support truly highlights the strength and compassion of our town,” was the heart of the message to the Toms River Education Foundation (TREF) and Downtown Toms River from the Unified Sports cohort from High School East and High School North.

The Downtown Night Out hosted by TREF and Downtown TR in September helped net $7,500 for the district's Unified Sports program through special services. That funding, along with the program's support from the Special Olympics, enabled the district to host several Unified football games this fall, including one pitting East against North in October.

Having the capacity and support to host such inspiring games inspired the Unified Sports team from special services to produce a thank-you video for TREF and Downtown Toms River, which is hosted on the TRSTV channel and also posted below:
