Jan. 25, 2021 -- This year, third grade students at Citta Elementary had the opportunity to join the Technology Club.
Students began by working independently as well as virtually with other students in their grade level to complete coding activities using Tynker.
Then, students were given Ozobots, mini robots, to learn how to code. They were taught how to care for and program the mini robots. They also learned how to use a video program called Flipgrid. Their final project was to create a maze or obstacle course for their Ozobot and present it using Flipgrid. When finished, students were able to view each other's projects via Flipgrid.
The 3rd graders did a wonderful job learning to problem solve, collaborate, and create using hands-on materials!
