Oct. 15, 2019-- While students were off from school, the district once again utilized the Columbus Day holiday to host professional learning experiences for its teachers, staff, and administrators. The Oct. 14 event, held at High School North, featured more than 230 learning opportunities on a wide variety of topics, though all falling under the broader themes of promoting social-emotional well-being, equity, diversity, and differentiation in education. The workshops were facilitated by both guests and colleagues. Lunch was made available by the Food Services Department as well as some local, independent food trucks.
