Oct. 17, 2022-- Students in Intermediate North’s Community Life Skills program have been learning to create shopping lists within a budget, and recently had the opportunity to put those skills into action with a trip to the supermarket.

Students collected items from their shopping lists and made purchases at the ShopRite registers. They then used their money-transaction skills to purchase lunch.

Life skills students’ next project is creating their own holiday feast, and for that they look forward to their next grocery shopping venture. Additional photos below.
