Feb. 2, 2026- It's close to Valentine's Day, which is, traditionally, roses' time to shine.

It's also Nick Rose's time to shine, since it's that time of the year when young student musicians are recognized for their talents. And it's likewise become something of a tradition for the Intermediate East percussionist to win, by audition, the 1st Chair Timpani spot in the All South Jersey Region III Jr. High Band. He did it last year, and he accomplished the feat yet again this past Saturday.

Nick will be performing with his fellow talented middle school musicians at Fernwood Middle School in March.

"We are extremely proud of Nick and his musical accomplishments," exclaimed Int. East bad director Jill Milkovitz-Lovinfosse, pictured at right alongside Nick and Intermediate East Principal James Cleveland.
