Summer AI Camp Spawning Superhero Skills | Toms River Regional School District

Aug. 11, 2026- Look up in the sky! Is it a bird, or a plane, or a ... drone? Students are in awe with what they're learning in the computer technology room (right) at Intermediate East this week during the Artificial Intelligence and Human Interaction (AI & HI) summer session, an opportunity resulting from a state grant the district earned this past spring. Students are blending tech skills with, yes — genuine human interaction and collaboration, and using AI to enhance their imagination and even bring their personalized ideal superhero to life. T.E.A.M. volunteers are helping the camp to run smoothly, and students are working together to make the dog days of August an opportunity to expand their social and AI skills.
