May 22, 2025- It was a year-end celebration for the district's Work-Based Learning program, which prepares students for careers in the real world through community partnerships, internships, and work experiences.
The event was held in the High School North media center this morning, and led by WBL teacher-coordinator Jamie Tesoro.
"This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students and the support of our incredible community partners," Tesoro said.
Many of those partners were in attendance, and students spoke candidly (right) about what the program has meant to them throughout their high school tenures, and what it means for their futures. See more from the joyous event in the slideshow below.
