• Family Reading Night

    East Dover's Parent Academy presents:  Reading with Family is S'more Fun!! Tuesday, October 22nd from 5-7pm, students and their families will have a fun-filled night of reading activities, refreshments, give-aways, and raffles. Sponsored by the Toms River Education Association.
  • Red Ribbon/Anti-Violence Week

    Red Ribbon/Anti-Violence Week begins on Monday, October 21st and wraps up on Friday, October 25th at East Dover Elementary. Students will participate in various themed activities to promote healthy choices and taking a stand against school violence. Click on the link to see the schedule.
  • Pretty in Pink

    Students dress in their pink attire on Friday, October 18th for cancer awareness.
  • Fall Frenzy

    The PTO and PBSIS will be sponsoring a Fall Frenzy on Thursday, October 17th from 5:30-7pm. Sensory needs/Pre-K students are welcomed to come 5-5:30pm. Students will be decorating pumpkins and trick or treating in the halls.
  • Week of Respect Ends in School Spirit

    Friday, October 11th will end our Week of Respect at East Dover Elementary. Students can wear school colors, blue and gold, to show their school spirit!
  • Pretzel Sale

    Students can purchase Philly Pretzels during their lunch period on Thursday, October 10th.
  • Picture Day is Coming...

    Students will dress to impress on either Wednesday, October 16th or Thursday, October 17th. Check with your child's teacher!
  • Take a Stand Against Bullying

    On Wednesday, October 9th students can "Take a Stand Against Bullying" and dress up as their favorite SUPERHERO!!
  • Week of Respect

    East Dover kicks off their Week of Respect on October 7th! Adminstration and teachers will be carrying out various lessons and activities to demonstrate the importance of being a respectful citizen in our school community.
  • Smencil Sale

    There will be a Smencil Sale during lunches on October 3rd! $1 per Smencil.
  • Positive Vibe Day

    School Spirit Day-Friday, September 27th. Wear a shirt with a postive message!!
  • Scholastic Book Fair

    East Dover's Scholastic Book Fair will begin on Monday, September 23rd and finish on Friday, September 27th. If you are able to volunteer, please click on the link.
  • District Sock Drive

    Toms River Schools Peer Leadership Ambassadors will be assisting with the Sock Drive, a collection that is designed to help the homeless population in our community. You can show your support by sending in a new pair of socks. Donations are being accepted through Monday September 30, 2019.
  • Ocean County 4-H Club Program

    Rutgers Cooperative Extension and 4-H is starting a FREE Robotics Club for Ocean County kids Grades 4-8. Learn to build Lego robots, program them to move and drive, and compete against other Lego League teams.   • Welcome Back to School

    School is in session on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Students have early dismissal at 1:55pm. Looking forward to an exciting school year!
  • PBSIS End of The Year Celebration

    During the event, students were surprised by the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit landing a Bell Helicopter on our field! Students were able to tour the helicopter and the entire East Dover School body was able to take a picture with the State Troopers!

  • NEA Big Read Kicks Off in Grand Style at East Dover

    A camo truck sat in front of East Dover Elementary School Jan. 23 as families entered for a fun-filled evening honoring veterans and themed after Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried, the district's NEA Big Read selection for 2018-2019.
