This past summer, 72 intermediate students participated in a six-week Makercamp at High School North, funded by a NJ Department of Education innovateNJ Title I grant. Students engaged in weekly challenges that integrated art, math, literacy, science, civics, engineering, technology, presentation skills, and sustainability. The program was written and overseen by Assistant Superintendent Marc Natanagara, with support from a cross-curricular team of teachers and administrators. In its final week, students shared their work with Superintendent David Healy, Board President Robert Onofrietti, Mayor Tom Kelaher, and Jeremy Grunin.
