Principal's Message
September 2021
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!
The North Dover Elementary School administration, faculty and staff are devoted to creating a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for student success and achievement. We maintain a safe, caring and nurturing school atmosphere while fostering the academic, social, and emotional development and well-being of each student. We encourage our students to practice good citizenship, demonstrate respect for others, and use problem solving skills in order to prepare for the challenges of our ever changing world.
Our parents are encouraged to communicate often with their children’s teacher. An open communication line will benefit the academic and social/emotional growth of our students.
Our school’s population ranges from Kindergarten through Grade 5, with approximately 400 students. North Dover’s mascot is the Pirate, and our colors are black and yellow.
Our instructional and support staff consists of 60 dedicated professionals who regularly participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and remain current with educational trends.
Acknowledgement is given to our custodial staff for their vigilance in maintaining a clean and safe school building and to our office staff for expertly facilitating daily school tasks.
We would like to welcome all new and returning students to school this year, and we look forward to working with parents and our community in our shared school goal: to help each child reach his/her potential.
We are very excited to begin a great school year at North Dover Elementary School!
Sincerely,
Ms. Colleen McGrath
Principal
