Beneciuk Hits Career Century Mark at SCT

Jan. 29, 2025- High School South senior wrestler Owen Beneciuk picked an ideal time to notch his 100th career wrestling victory — the Shore Conference Tournament last week.

It was, appropriately, via pin — Beneciuk's 10th of the season — versus Middletown South while all eyes were on him during the hotly-contested SCT in Lakewood. The milestone even caught the attention of NJ.com's Bob Badders, whose story was picked up by MSN online. Congratulations, Owen!

It also marks back-to-back years for the program celebrating the milestone, as Caden Langan hit 100 last year.
