Jan. 18, 2022-- Emerson Dirk (left) and Nina Casalino earned High School East pole vault relay gold during the Group 3 State Relay Championships at the Bubble Jan. 16.

A combined jump of 17 feet, 6 inches helped the girls beat out Roxbury and earn the gold medal for HSE. Their performance helped establish a banner day for the district in pole vaulting, as High School South won the gold in the boys event as well.
