March 20, 2026- Two High School East leaders have been named top coaches in their sports.

Boys swimming coach Kevin Koenigstein (left) earned Shore Conference Coach of the Year honors, leading a team that posted a 4-1 record in their Shore Blue A division and a 7-2 mark overall.

And wrestling coach Mark Gray (above,), whose squad won the state sectional title for the first time in program history, was named the Asbury Park Press Shore Wrestling Coach of the Year in just his first season at the helm.

Congratulations, coaches, on a job well done and the recognition to prove it!
