May 19, 2026- During the trials of the South Jersey Group 3 track and field state sectionals over the weekend, High School South's Ellie "the bomb" O'Leary broke the school record with a throw of 137 feet, six inches. That record, however, was short-lived and soon eclipsed by teammate Stephanie "Fabulous" (these monikers are courtesy of HSS ambassador Dave Correll, of course) Fullen (left), who unleashed a massive throw of 140 feet, nine inches, which not only set a new school mark, but earned her the silver medal in the event. The girls are no strangers to track and field success, as Fullen and O'Leary also finished third and fourth, respectively, in the javelin. Way to go, and way to throw!
