June 2, 2025- During a dominating, 16-0 win over Timber Creek in the first round of the state tournament last week, High School East shortstop Matthew Ferrara went 2-for-3, notching a single, double, stealing three bases, and scoring three times.

It was another day at the office for the senior, except that his line put him at 100 career hits.

With form like that (above), it's no wonder Ferrara hit, literally, the century mark.

He celebrated Senior Night on May 20 (right), a milestone on May 27, and his Raider team is in the semifinals of the state tournament, playing tomorrow. It's been a good run, and a heckuva career for Matthew Ferrara. Congratulations!
