Oct. 31, 2022-- High School North's girls cross country team won the Group 4 state title Oct. 29, their first team NJSIAA title in a dozen years.

The team was led by freshman Jessica Abbott (right), who finished first overall with a time of 18:04.02. Last year Abbott set county and Intermediate North records in the 1600M. 

It's was Abbott's fifth win of the season, and she became the first High School North Lady Mariner to win the South Jersey Group 4 title race since 2000, according to NJ.com.
