May 15, 2025- A 10-7 home win over Marlboro was cause for celebration for a number of reasons on an otherwise dreary day. For starters, the victory advanced High School North's boys lacrosse team to the finals of the Coach's Cup Tournament, where they'll face Brick Memorial on the road tomorrow. The game was also a marker of milestones for two senior Mariners. Midfielder Ben Misa scored twice, giving him triple digits in points— an even 100 but still counting— for his impressive lax career. Ben's teammate in goal, meanwhile, was busy making 12 saves, all important ones in a three-goal victory. It was a personal accomplishment as well for Charlie Machamer, who surpassed 300 saves in goal for HSN. Congratulations to the M&M boys, and good luck to the High School North Mariners in their matchup with Brick tomorrow!
