July 2, 2024-- High School North boys track and field coach Michael Barrett has been named Coach of the Year for 2024.

Barrett's team was Shore Conference champions this year, and their performance at the Penn Relays in April was described by the Asbury Park Press as "epic" and the "stuff of legend."

Barrett was featured in a recent Instagram series by Garden State Track Club highlighting the best coaches and track teams in America.
