Nov. 4, 2024-- High School North football's resounding 55-6 win over Bridgeton in round one of the South Jersey Group 5 playoffs Nov. 1 was big. It was also special. During the game, senior kicker Yianni Papnikolas broke a state record for the most career extra points. With a remarkable 187 XPs, Papnikolas earned himself a post-game celebration with family (left) and teammates (below), and a hug from Mom (above). Congratulations, Yianni, on becoming the new, all-time New Jersey record holder for kickers, and best of luck to the Mariners as they continue their quest for another Group 5 title.
