March 1, 2026- At the NJSIAA District Tournaments yesterday, two High School South wrestlers proved to be the best in their weight class.

Seniors Brett Rankin (215 lbs) and Owen Beneciuk (150) were crowned 2026 District 26 champions at Seneca High School. It was the second straight District 26 title for Rankin, and Beneciuk has certainly been no stranger to wrestling success this season. The wins, therefore, cap remarkable careers for both young men, who have certainly made the HSS wrestling program proud over their four years of competing. Congratulations, boys!
