May 18, 2026- It's been quite a senior year for High School South's Brett Rankin (right), who became a district wrestling champion (again) in February and who was named WOBM Student of the Week last month. And the hits keep on coming, as Rankin was recognized at the NJSIAA's Scholar-Awards Program this past weekend.

Each school in the state selects one student who exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete, and Rankin was South's choice. His reward was a $500 scholarship.
