Toms River Softball Headed to Little League World Series

July 27, 2026- The Toms River All-Stars softball team found themselves down 1-0 against Minersville (PA) on Thursday in the Mid-Atlantic Region final, but clawed back for a 5-3 win, and are headed to the Little League World Series in North Carolina.

The team features a number of girls from Toms River Schools, including Intermediate South's Sophia Tolentino (below) and Intermediate North's Jaelyn Brown, who pitched around trouble July 23 and earned the win, and who has been a steadying force for the girls all season.

The team also features Intermediate North’s Juliana Florek-Doslik and Intermediate East’s Aviana Gay, Leiana Gay, Briella Bognar, Carly Leonard, and Mischa Koeppen.
