The TRRS Dual Credit Scholarship provides assistance for high school students who are taking dual enrollment courses. Preference will be given to students who qualify for free/reduced lunch or are in a financial hardship. Additionally, a limited number of dual enrollment academic scholarships are available each year for students.
Eligible students with a financial hardship may receive a scholarship for up to two courses per year. Students who earn an academic scholarship will receive a tuition scholarship for one course per year.
The application process requires students to complete two personal reflections, scored by a rubric, as well as student and parent/guardian information. Applications for all Spring 2023 classes must be submitted by March 3, 2023 and students will be notified about their scholarship award by April 1, 2023.
Students who already completed the application in the fall, and were not enrolled in dual enrollment courses for fall or full year at the time, do not need to re-apply. Please let your school counselor know that you are enrolling in a Spring Semester dual enrollment course and that you previously applied for a scholarship.
