June 10, 2025- Three district track and field standouts have been named to the Asbury Park Press's All-Shore Track and Field first team for 2025.

High School North's Riley Brazier and May Hanlon, along with High School South's Julia Santos, earned the honors. South sophomore Elizabeth O'Leary made the APP's second team.

Santos emerged as one of the state and country's best shot putters over the course of her career, and her senior year was magnificent, featuring record throws and gold medals at the Shore Conference, county championships, and Group 3 State Relays. She's taking her talents to Princeton this fall.

Brazier won gold in javelin at the Ocean County and Shore Conference championships, and for the former took gold in the triple jump, too. She'll compete on the track as a Rutgers Scarlet Knight in a matter of months.

No one locally could jump higher than May Hanlon, who won the Group 4 high jump and gold at the Shore and Ocean County championship meets. Hanlon cleared the bar and plenty of hurdles, too- winning the 100 hurdles at the Shore Conference and Ocean County championships. With an awards-filled high school career complete, she's now making the jump to Monmouth.

The first-team honors are well deserved and the culmination of fantastic track and field careers for these three seniors. Good luck at the next level, ladies!
